We’re so excited to partner with Treetopia for their Loud & Proud campaign to create a fun and simple Pride party! Celebrate you!

Treetopia asked us to throw a simple Pride party and decorate a wreath for the main event! We were a little stumped and didn’t know how we could out-do our rainbow wreath from last year. So, we started thinking about what Pride means to us.
Pride is a lot of things…it’s about celebrating how far we’ve come, activism, being comfortable with being who you want to be and spreading love within our community and to the world! So much of our love and support comes from our Instagram community, so we wanted to feature our Instagram family. Their support and love means so much to us!

The Winter White Wreath is a blank canvas…with LED lights! We knew we wanted to add lots of color, so we decided to create little rainbow polaroids using bright cardstock.
We reached out asking for people to be apart of our wreath and send us a picture of themselves and sure enough our peeps came through!
We can’t image where we would be without the support of our family and friends. It really does take a village! As much as we love rainbows, pride is about the support that we give and get from each other when we need it the most!

For our party we wanted to keep it simple, fun and colorful. When we host we like to keep our guests busy, so we broke our party down into different activity areas. No one wants to be bored! Activities get people talking and moving around.

Wear Your Pride – We created a little area filled with dollar store stickers, beads and other fun accessories that guests can to add to their wardrobe! Who doesn’t love a take-away gift!

Cher Your Pride – Of course, we have to have a craft station! Guests can throw it back with those children’s scratch notes cards where rainbow colors are hidden beneath the black coating. Magic!
”Who Am I?” Game – We love to force our guests to mingle, no better way than a group game. We printed out names of famous LGBTQ+ allies, activists and icons. We added each name to a piece of cardstock and will tape one to the back of every guest. Can’t take it off until you know who you are!!
How to play – It’s a guessing game where everyone has a name on their back, but no one knows who they are. Each person must try to figure out who they are by only asking “Yes” or “No” questions.

How cute is this rainbow fruit tray? Judy Garland approved!
Guests always want to bring something, we like to give them specifics so everyone doesn’t show up with a bottle of wine. We took care of desserts and cocktails and asked everyone to bring lite snacks!

Throwing a party can be overwhelming! Our number one tip is to stay relaxed and enjoy the party. Your guests will feed off of your energy…if you’re stressed, guests will be stressed!

Keep it fun and simple! Paper and dollar store items can go a long way!
Let the music play! Happy Pride!
