If you don’t have a garden like us, you can make a a cute pair of gnomes to bring a little bit of good luck and cuteness to your houseplants.

  • Find a cute gnome image online, resize and print.

  • Carefully cut out.

  • Paint a thin piece of balsa wood with acrylic paint.

  • Add Mod Podge to the back of the gnome.

  • Add a top coat of Mod Podge seal the deal.

  • Carefully cut out gnomes with a craft knife adding a stake or spike to the bottom of the gnomes to help stick them in the soil.

  • Sand down any rough edges.

  • Give your gnome a home.

Only question is-what should we name these two?

Totally cute 🙂 I’m fond of the names George and Gracie, and not only as an obscure Star Trek reference. (George and Gracie where the whales in Star Trek: The Voyage Home)

That’s David and his wife Lisa from the 1980s TV show David the Gnome.
