Easter Egg Head DIY

It seems like every type of Easter egg has been done before so we wanted to change it up a bit using minimal materials!

Isn’t he eggcellent!? And it was so quick and easy to create!

  • Cut the top of a plastic crafting Easter egg using a craft knife.

  • Use a long piece of wire to create the glasses. Cut a longer piece of wire than you think you’ll need and use a dowel as a guid to create round lenses.

  • Pop in a faux plant. If using a real plant create drainage holes in the bottom of the egg with the craft knife.

  • Create a stand or “nest” with wire. Wrap wire around an acrylic paint bottle as a guid to help make even circles.

Nerd alert! He kind of has a Harry Potter vibe and we love him for that!

I was thinking Harry Potter too, just pop on a little scar! Or those glasses give him a bit of a John Denver vibe if that’s more your sort of thing!
This would be great for those air plants wouldn’t it? Real plants but no soil required 🙂
