DIY Christmas Wrapping Paper with Martha Stewart’s Patterned Roller

by Crafty Lumberjacks

We got another gift form our friends at Plaid crafts just in time for the holidays!

There seems to be a wrapping paper shortage in NYC, everything we find is hideous! So, we had to create our own.

We used Martha Stewart’s patterned roller to apply and distribute a thin, even layer of paint on inexpensive craft paper!

It started off a little rocky but once we got into the groove, we were super happy with our bright red wooden wrapping paper!

The best part about the roller is that it cleans well with soap and water and can be used over and over again! Time to think of our next project.

Rolling with the ho-ho homies!

We added some festive flourishes and made some easy gift tags with washi tape.

Plaid and wood tidings!

The wood pattern fits you quite well. I must say it is very eye-catching and would make any wrapped gift stand out under the tree.

this is about your time on the Rachel show… Hey how did you make the christmas tree? Do you have a pattern?

Hi Pam! So sorry for the late response! Hope you’re having a great start to the new year. We did not use a pattern for the trees, we drew out and cut very simple tree shapes. The simpler the better! Here’s a tutorial! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLJSSht1DgA&t=174s
