We’re so excited to share our fourth annual Halloween tree! We really took a bite out of our theme this year and went full on Drac! The one and only Count Dracula that is!
The tree is the 7.5’ Basics Black Tree with Clear lights from Treetopia!

We’re super thrilled to join Treetopia’s 13 Haunting Tales alongside 12 other creepy creators!
Each creator chose a character from a spooky tale to base their tree off of. It doesn’t get more Halloween-y than Dracula, so it seemed like a FANG-tastic fit!

We live in a small NY apartment and space is always an issue, so we like to repurpose a lot of our pieces we’ve used for other trees. Our skulls have been ushers, fortune tellers and now they’re Transilvanian ghouls!
To embellish our Dracula skulls we crafted fangs out of clay, gave them a grave paint job and dressed them in lace and glitter.
We even repurposed our skeleton hands from years past, they once held movie tickets, tarot cards and now they’re embellished with velvety wrapped pool noodles for arms…you’d be so VEIN to think these hands are reaching out for your fresh neck.

Our tree is also filled with skeleton bats who are equally dressed to the nines. We painted them with pops of colors that match their undead friends.

We also have a handful of coffin bangers. We turned dollar store boxes into light boxes with cut out Dracula silhouettes on our Cricut Maker and bloody vellum paper coated with alcohol ink.

Last year we materialized our fortune teller tree.
The year before that we threw it back to the golden age of horror movies.
Three years ago we concocted our weird science tree!
