How To:

Cut out two equal size squares:

You can do any size squares, the large the square the larger the start will be.

Fold, fold, fold and fold again:

Fold corner to corner, open and repeat. Then fold lengthwise in half, open and fold widthwise.

Cut small slits-

Open the folded paper and mark halfway from the center of the paper, along the 4 center lines. Snip along each center line from the edge until you reach the marked points.

Fold and flap-

Fold each cut flap toward the diagonal fold lines. Repeat for all four sides until you get a 4-pointed star shape.

Glue the flaps together-

Turn the star around and define the creases and folds with your fingertips.

Repeat and glue together-

Repeat process with another sheet of card stock. Glue one star atop the other. Staggering the points of the stars

Place a dowel inside the star and glue in place. Add ribbons to decorate and you’re done! Add to your decor or wave around all summer long!
