We’ve said this before, but we feel like one of our biggest challenges living in a small space is having everything accessible. We like to hide a lot of our clutter, so we end up spending more time looking for items we’ve hidden away than working on actual projects!

So to fix that daily dilemma, we created a wall organizer! This way we could have a handful of our essential tools out in the open, but nicely displayed.

It’s organized clutter in arms reach!

The concept is pretty simple, by looking at it you probably already get how to make it.

Here’s the how to:

  1. Cut a board to size. (31’’ x 18’’)

  2. Drill two holes at the top to thread a rope through to hang.

  3. Paint the board.

  4. Screw and glue features to the board.

One of the reasons we love this DIY is it is totally customizable! Add embellishments that fit your organizational needs!

Here are the features we added:

  • Hooks – for our calendar, scissors, ruler, hole punch or other supplies.

  • Removable pocket – for all our miscellaneous papers and mail. All the junk we don’t want to look at.

  • Cork board – to display phone numbers, daily reminders or lotto tickets! Feeling lucky?

  • Magnetic removable notepad – for those on-the-go lists! Grab and go, baby!

  • Business card holder – holds business cards, stickers and tacks.

  • Shelves – for our plant and pens.

Even though “schools out forever” we still feel like late summer/early fall is time for a new start. We like to take some time to declutter a bit, set new goals and organize!

You two are brilliant! I love this so much! I’ve had clutter anxiety since transitioning to work from home. My once organized crafting table now accommodates two monitors and an additional laptop. For weeks I have been stalking pegboards but not wanting to commit to the expense- and now I don’t have too! This is just perfect and will cost nothing but materials I have on hand. Thank you for the inspiration! I see sanity in my near future.
