Do you have a handful of t-shirts that you don’t wear, but you just can’t get rid of? We did! Our beloved t-shirts were taking up room in our dresser, but we just couldn’t let go of them.
We knew we needed to do something with them! So we whipped up this simple craft!

It really couldn’t be easier. Wrap and staple!
As a hack use soda can tabs and wire to help hang them.

This is the first craft we made on HGTV Handmade! Check it out for a full tutorial and to watch us newbies be a little awkward and uncomfortable!

That is a great idea. Some clothes do seem too meaningful to just get rid of.
Thank you…we’ve been waiting for Mom to make a quilt outta of our theatre shirts, maybe one day!
Ooo! Love the use of the drink can TABS!!
😀
Thank you! Reduce, reuse, recycle! Haha
This is one of my favourite ideas of yours. And the way you use the ring pulls is borderline genius.
Thank you! Gotta use those soda can tabs for something!
Saw you on The Chew today, so glad I did!!! Loved the trees & pine cone critters!! Checked out your blog & LOVE this tee shirt project & the use of can tabs. So nice to keep it REAL for ordinary folk like me: budget friendly & recycling to boot!
Thank you!
